Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between selfefficacy and job satisfaction among civil servants at the Tanjung Uban Class 1 Port Management Office. Self efficacy is an individual's belief in their ability to complete certain tasks, while job satisfaction reflects the extent to which individuals feel satisfied with their work. This study employs a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with the criteria for respondents being active civil servants at the office. Out of a total population of 105 employees, a sample of 87 civil servants was obtained. The instruments used in this study include a self-efficacy scale and a job satisfaction scale, both of which have been validated and tested for reliability. The results of the data analysis indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between self efficacy and job satisfaction. Based on the Spearman's rho analysis, the correlation coefficient value obtained was 0.451 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the higher the self-efficacy possessed by civil servants, the higher the level of job satisfaction felt. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis is accepted and show a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and job satisfaction.
