Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of implementing internet banking by including the control variables SIZE, NPF, DPK and BOPO on the financial performance of Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia. This research was conducted at Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) in Indonesia starting from the recorded period 2018-2023 which was obtained from the official website of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Annual Banking Report. The number of samples for this research was 8 Indonesian BUS, using a sampling method, namely the purposive sampling method. And the data analysis method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method with a panel data regression model. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that the application of Internet Banking (IB) has a significant effect on the financial performance of Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia (ROA) and the application of internet banking by including the measurement of the NPF control variable has no significant effect and the control variables SIZE and BOPO have a significant effect on financial performance.
