Abstract

The Department of Transportation has to carry out several affairs Regional Government in the field of Transportation is based on the principle of autonomy and assistance. The Department of Transportation plays an important role in the field of transportation in general. In an effort to improve service and order the purchase of tickets for the Roro Bengkalis – Sei. In addition, the Transportation Agency plays an important role. As for this study, the main problem discussed was the role of the Department of Transportation in the smooth operation of Roro Bengkalis – Sei. Selari and the impact that will occur if passengers do not comply with the rules or do not have tickets to enter the roro ship. For this research, the writer uses a type of empirical law or a type of research (Observational Research), namely by going into the field to get some data. The data and data sources that the authors use are secondary data, while the data collection techniques that the authors use are observation, interview and documentation techniques. While the method of drawing conclusions that the authors use in this study is the deductive method, namely drawing conclusions from things that are general to specific. Based on the survey results that the author has carried out, the role of the Transportation Service in Roro order is limited to checking passengers registered in the manifest recorded from the ticket management cooperative at Roro Bengkalis Port. In overcoming passenger disorder, reprimands have been taken for roro port users or prospective roro passengers who are not disciplined about the queuing regulations that apply at the Bengkalis roro port. The impact of disorderly passengers greatly affects the smooth operation of the port.
