Abstract

Restorative justice or other terms often called restorative justice is a new approach in efforts to resolve criminal cases. The approach or concept of restorative justice or restorative justice focuses more on the participation or direct participation of perpetrators, victims and the community in the process of resolving criminal cases including cases of domestic violence. Domestic violence is any act against a person, especially a woman, which results in physical, sexual, psychological misery or suffering, and/or neglect of the household including threats to commit acts, coercion, or unlawful deprivation of liberty within the household sphere. Therefore author has a problem formulation, namely: How is the application of the Attorney General's Office Regulation Number 15 of 2020 concerning termination of prosecution based on restorative justice for the crime of abuse in the household sphere at the Karimun District Attorney? And what are the obstacles in implementing the implementation of the Attorney General's Regulation Number 15 of 2020 concerning termination of prosecution based on restorative justice in cases of abuse within the household sphere in the jurisdiction of the Karimun District Attorney? The research method used is an empirical legal method. Typestudy This law is a research method in which the author seeks information about activities as an object of research, in this case examining how the Prosecutor's Regulation No. 15 of 2020 is applied at the Karimun State Attorney's Office. The results of this study are that the application of restorative justice with reference to the Prosecutor's Office Regulation No. 15 of 2020 has been implemented properly by the Karimun District Prosecutor's Office, the obstacle is the lack of public knowledge of problem solving using the principles of Restorative Justice.
