Supervision is a series of activities carried out by supervisory officers to ensure the conformity of Circulating Goods and/or Services in meeting the Quality Standards of Circulating Goods and/or Services. Supervision Indicators used: Internal supervision (internal control), External supervision (external control), Preventive supervision and Repressive supervision. Qualitative Research Method, Research location Pekanbaru City has adequate facilities and infrastructure for industrial supervision, consumer protection, and trade order. Research Results Internal supervision (internal control) is carried out routinely by government agencies through various stages, such as direct inspection, internal audit, and periodic evaluation. External supervision (external control) plays a very important role in supporting internal supervision carried out by the government. Preventive supervision implemented by the Riau Province Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Service runs through several main steps, starting from determining regulations, making guidelines, to establishing a coordination and sanction system. Repressive supervision by the Riau Province Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Service is carried out through four main systems: comparative, verification, inspection, and investigative. The comparative system is used to compare conditions in the field with existing standards, while the verification and inspection systems ensure that evidence of violations is valid and further action can be taken.
