Abstract
This study aims to Analyze the Effectiveness of Barcode Absences in the Bureau of Economics of the Regional Secretariat of Riau Province. Effectiveness Indicators used: Production, Efficiency, Satisfaction, Adaptation/Flexibility and Development. The type of research uses Qualitative Descriptive with Qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used: Observation, Interviews and Documentation. The results of the barcode absence system research implemented in the Bureau of Economics of the Regional Secretariat of Riau Province have shown positive and effective results. Its implementation not only supports employee discipline, but also helps management in managing absence data more accurately and efficiently. Effectiveness of Barcode Absences in the Bureau of Economics of the Regional Secretariat of Riau Province Overall, the barcode absence system implemented in the Bureau of Economics of the Regional Secretariat of Riau Province has shown positive and effective results. Further development is expected to increase the benefits of this system in supporting employee performance evaluation and productivity. Overcoming dependence on electronic systems, it is important to have clear backup procedures in case of system disruption. The manual absence recording system can be used as an emergency measure for some time.
