Abstract

Unskilled labor shortage can pose a serious problem in various industries and locations. It occurs when the demand for workers with low skills exceeds the available supply in the labor market, often affecting the productivity and operational efficiency of companies or industries. This research aims to analyze the depiction of unskilled labor shortage at PT. RAPP Estate Logas in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The research sample consisted of 52 employees obtained through census sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire for employees and interviews with company leaders. The results of this study reveal that the unskilled labor shortage at RAPP is caused by a suboptimal work environment and recruitment process. Moving forward, the company needs to equip and address efforts to understand the system related to the unskilled labor shortage within the company.
