Abstract

CV. Kaila Bersaudara is a private company headquartered in Duri, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. This company is a service company engaged in car and heavy equipment rental. This company rents cars and heavy equipment with various brands and types. This company can rent its cars and heavy equipment to both companies and individuals. CV. Kaila Bersaudara has 10 coworkers and 20 employees. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research and data collection techniques in this study are interviews, documentation, and observation. Primary data was obtained directly through interviews with key informants and informants, namely the director, operational manager, finance department, logistics department, purchasing department, chief mechanic department, mechanic department, and assistant department. And secondary data was obtained from research documentation. This study aims to analyze employee motivation based on Abraham H. Maslow's theory. Of the five levels of motivation from this theory, three levels of motivation, namely physiological needs, security needs, and social needs, have been met at CV. Kaila Bersaudara. While for the two levels of motivation, namely esteem needs and the needs for self-actualization that have not been fully met by CV. Kaila Bersaudara. The company is reluctant to give awards to employees who have work achievements and provide training to employees to develop their abilities.
