Abstract

This study aims to find out how the persuasive communication strategy used by SPG while working and meeting the different characters of each consumer. This study focuses more on describing how persuasive communication is carried out by SPG so that consumers are influenced so that they make purchases of the products offered. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data used in this study using data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The subjects of this study were 5 sales promotion girl cosmetic shop Miss glam Pekanbaru who have experience and knowledge about the main factors of success in work. The results of this study indicate that the communication that is processed and conveyed well in a persuasive manner by sales promotion to consumers is the main factor of success at work. The aspect of appearance given by sales promotion in work is a supporting factor for consumers in making purchases of the products offered.
