Abstract
At this time the TikTok application is a new platform that is trending in all circles. In this application, all of these people are competing to show a new character for themselves on social media, which seems to want to show a positive character of themselves. Not a few of those who play this application the purpose is as a place to get entertainment. This study aims to see how the phenomenon of using Tiktok as a means of self-healing for young mothers. This study applies a qualitative descriptive method and relates the problem to the opinions of experts. Data was collected by means of interviews and documentation. There were 5 informants in this study. This study uses the uses and gratification concept, explaining that the concept explains that there are four indicators in the use of social media. From this concept, these young mothers can interact or establish social relationships, make friends and get the latest information. The results of this study are 1. that young mothers start to use Tiktok after their friends download the application. So that these young mothers are influenced to use TikTok social media, even though they are just following the trend, but these young mothers are still using TikTok until now. 2. use tiktok just because you want to see some of the latest information and make the tiktok application to relieve boredom after doing daily activities. 3. The use of tiktok as a means of self-healing has become a necessity for young mothers, where by using tiktok as a means of self-healing, these young mothers can interact or establish social relationships, add friendships and obtain useful information. so that it helps young mothers in healing after doing their daily activities.
