Abstract

Celebrity worship is a tendency to get close to an idol that leads to dysfunctional behavior, of course this has a great influence on the daily life of teenagers who are Kpop fans, with various positive and negative influences on teenagers, this will certainly affect the development of the life of the teenager in the future. To find out the picture of celebrity worship in teenage Kpop fans. The research method used is Qualitative method with phenomenological approach. The sampling technique carried out during this study was purposive sampling with the data collection techniques used were interviews and observations. The subjects in the study were teenage Kpop fans. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the first subject used Kpop as entertainment and could determine life priorities, but for a sense of attachment, this was quite high because the subject did not want his idol to get married before he also had a partner and was obliged to see his idol at least once before going to bed. Meanwhile, in the second subject, Kpop is also a means of entertainment when bored and the subject feels that he knows his idol better than anyone else.
