Abstract

Basically, every pipe that has a certain flow rate, with different pipe lengths and diameters always experiences a different pressure drop. This pressure drop must be analyzed so that the process of injecting water is as expected. Head loss needs to be done so that the water injection pressure is in accordance with what is needed. The purpose of this research is to calculate the amount of head loss in the injection well flowline, analyze the causes of head loss in the injection well flowline, and compare it with real results. The method used to analyze headloss on the injection well flowline is the Darcy-Weisbach method. With the Darcy-Weisbach method, headloss analysis was carried out on the Kurnia Field flowline and each pipe diameter would determine how much the headloss value was. From the results of calculations using the Darcy Weisbach method of pressure on the flowline of the Kurnia Field Injection well, it can be seen that the cause of a large head loss on the flowline is the Q value flowing in a small pipe diameter that will affect the head loss value. This happens because the major and minor Headloss values at the small diameter are very large. Pipe length also affects the value of head loss in Kurnia Field. in the North zone there is the highest headloss value in well K# 3 with a pipe diameter of 12" and a pipe length of 6300 meters with a headloss value of 4,978.86 m. Whereas in the South zone there is the high-est headloss value in well K# 6 with a pipe diameter of 8" and a pipe length of 2250 meters, with a headloss value of 9,195.40. Then the K# 4 well with a pipe diameter of 20" and a pipe length of 100 meters is close to the actual pressure in the Kurnia field with a percentage yield of 96.66%.
