Abstract

The AH well in the KT field is a vertical well that produces gas. In 2020 the AH well will be produced again where previously this well was closed. However, after production there was a decrease in production which was marked by problems with Liquid Loading in the AH well. Determination of critical velocity is the result of several methods, namely Turner and Coleman, but in this study will only use the turner method. Furthermore, the Liquid Loading countermeasures method can use a method called Foam Lift. So based on the Foam Lift method, the results of variations in the performance concentration of Foam Lift with 0.01%, 0.02%, 0.03%, 0.04%, 0.05%, 0.06% and 0.07% can be concluded that there is still identification of Liquid loading and for surfactant 0.08%, 0.09%, 0.10%, 0.11%, 0.12%, 0.13%, 0.14%, 0.15%, 0.16%, 0.17%, 0.18%, 0.19% and 0.2% there is no identification of Liquid Loading. So it can be concluded that the higher the surfactant injected, the higher the flow rate obtained so that there is an increase in production at the age of AH in the KT field.
