Abstract
Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) is an effort to increase oil production in old fields which have experienced a very significant decline in production, where the water cut is very close to 99% in some fields. EOR is the injection of chemicals into the reservoir with the main objective of changing the physical properties of the fluid and reservoir rock which affect the increase in the efficiency of pressing and sweeping. One of the EOR methods that use chemicals such as surfactants, polymers, and alkalis. The Alkali, Surfactant, Polymer (ASP) method is considered as a promising method to increase oil recovery since 1990. The recovery rate of ASP is able to reach 45.3% which is compared to surfactant injection, polymer injection and alkali injection which only reach 45.3% respectively. 15%, 11.6% and 10%. The success of ASP flooding is strongly influenced by several parameters in increasing oil recovery. Therefore, the authors conducted this research in order to obtain the most influential parameters. This study simulated reservoir conditions using the CMG GEM 2020 simulator. The research began with modeling using coreflood and injection fluids, including Alkylbenzene Sulfonate (ABS) for surfactants, Ammonium (Na+) for alkalis and Hydrolyzedpolyacrylamide (HPAM) for polymers. From the running results, it shows that the R2 value is higher than 0.85, which means that there is a match between the data and the model. The results of the investigation also show that the Sensitivity Analysis CMOST should be considered for use in carrying out significant parameter analysis with an accuracy level of 0.87 with the results based on sobol analysis in cluster 1 (main effects) which are BHP in the producer as large as then in cluster 2 (interaction effects) surfactant concentration 2E+02%, injection flow rate 1.6E+02%, adsorption 1.6E+02%, reservoir salinity 99% and alkali concentration 57%.
