Abstract

The utilization of products derived from oil and gas energy is becoming more and more needed, for this reason, with the high demand for oil and gas energy. So it is necessary to increase production on the basis of 3 oil recovery, namely natural flow, secondary recovery, and EOR. Oil wells are faced with a number of challenges and problems that will reduce production levels even though the well still has great potential to produce oil. With this background, an artificial lift in the form of a gas lift is used which is fairly flexible, cheap, and easy to install so that even if there is an error in the gas lift design, oil production will still increase even though it is different when the design is done. A sensitivity scenario of gas lift parameters, namely injection depth and injection rate, will be conducted. The simulation results obtained from each parameter in the form of injection depth (2500 ft, 5000 ft, and 7500 ft) obtained a flow rate that continues to increase as the depth increases and the parameter in the form of injection rate is also not much different. However, for the acquisition of the prosper, an injection rate of 3.75 MMscf/day was selected, this value was chosen on the grounds that if it was added even larger it would not make the production flow rate increase but only landau. Then, the injection depth was chosen at a depth of 7500 ft because the production rate is getting bigger along with the injection depth.
