Abstract

Analysis of Agroindustry and Marketing of Lemang Durian in Sialang Munggu Village, Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City, under the guidance of Mr. Hajry Arief Wahyudy, SP., M.MA. Agroindustry is the process of changing agricultural products into products that have added value. This study aims to find out: 1) the characteristics of entrepreneurs and the profile of the durian lemang business in Tuah Madani District, Sialang Munggu Village 2) Analyze the durian lemang agroindustry business in Tuah Madani District, Sialang Munggu Village 3) analyze marketing, namely marketing institutions and channels, marketing functions, marketing costs and marketing efficiency. This research was carried out in Sialang Munggu Village, Tuah Madani District, starting from April 2024 to September 2024. This study uses a survey method. The collection of respondents was carried out with a census of 1 entrepreneur and 2 workers. The data collected are primary and secondary data. The results of the study showed that the age of the entrepreneur was 41 years old and the average age of the workforce was 3. Entrepreneurs have been educated for 12 years and the average workforce is 12 years, the dependents of the entrepreneur's family are 6 people while the workforce does not have family dependents. Entrepreneurs have 6 years of business experience and the workforce has 3. The durian lemang business profile has been established since 2018 until now. The durian lemang business is included in the scale of household businesses with capital spent by the entrepreneurs themselves. The average use of raw materials is 10kg/production process. The production cost in producing durian lemang is Rp 434.808,00/production process. The products produced were 30 sticks at a price of Rp 45,000.00/stick. The gross income obtained per production process is Rp 1,350,000.00. The net profit obtained per production process was IDR 958.807. The efficiency (RCR) of the durian lemang business is 3,45 with an added value of Rp 103,911/kg with an input of added value contribution to the output value of 76.9%. There are two marketing channels in the durian lemang business. Channel I is entrepreneurs selling to retailers, channel II entrepreneurs selling to retailers, retailers to consumers. The functions carried out by the institution are: purchasing, selling, transporting, storing, packaging, market information, and risk bearer. With a price difference of Rp 40,000.00/stick, marketing efficiency is 3% with the profit obtained by retail traders of Rp 37,770.00/durian lemang stick.
