Abstract

Cementing a drilling well is a process of mixing and forcing cement slurry through the casing so that it flows upward through the annulus behind the casing so that the casing is bound to the formation. Cementing functions as a hydraulic restriction (blockage) between the casing and the formation, holding all the load from the weight of the casing. A good cement used in cementing can be seen through several parameters such as compressive strength, shear bond strength and thickening time according to the needs of the well. This research uses granite additives and Na2SiO3 as an accelerator added to cement slurry through analysis in the laboratory with a concentration of 0%, 0.3%, 0.9%, 1%, 1.2%, 1.5%BWOC. From the test results, the addition of granite obtained the best value at a concentration of 1.5%, where the value of compressive strength was 4331.33 psi, shear bond strength was 545.915 psi and thickening time was 143 minutes. Whereas for the addition of Na2SiO3 the compressive strength and shear bond strength values obtained were optimum at a concentration of 0.9% with a value of 3054.36 psi and 390,633 psi and the best thickening time with an addition of 1.5% concentration was 122 minutes.
