Abstract

Large Biopore Infiltration Analysis at Mutiara Kulim Permai Housing, Pekanbaru Haira Sesharisna 203113020 ABSTRACT The increasing population growth and the development of life demands, the need for housing, which requires space as a container is increasing causing changes in land use. Changes in land use have resulted in a decrease in the function of catchment areas and surface runoff which can cause inundation. One of the areas in Pekanbaru City that experienced stagnant water was in Mutiara Kulim Permai Housing, Tenayan Raya sub-district. This study aims to determine the amount of infiltration rate (LRB) before and after applying LRB and to determine the percentage of runoff discharge that can be reduced after applying LRB. This research method uses the Horton Curve method. The results of infiltration testing in the field obtained the highest infiltration rate in samples without fillers (LRB II) of 8.40 cm/hour and samples with fillers (LRB I and III) of 48.00 cm/hour. The largest percentage reduction in biopore infiltration holes is found in block 11 of 58.11%. The average value of the effectiveness percentage of all land is 51.83%.
