Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 or shortened to Covid-19 is the name of an infectious disease that first appeared in Wuhan, China in 2019. This disease has become a major epidemic in all countries in the world including Indonesia. This disease has also claimed many lives and devastated the global economy so that governments in all countries in the world are trying to reduce and if possible eliminate the Covid-19 pandemic by making legal policies for one of which is implementing a health protocol law enforcement system in efforts to prevent and prevention of Corona virus disease 2019. However, the application of the health protocol law in Indragiri Hilir Regency has not had the expected impact, so the Indragiri Hilir Regency government is making efforts to increase the Effectiveness of Health Protocol Law Enforcement in Indragiri Hilir Regency. The author formulates two problem formulations related to the Juridical Review of the Effectiveness of Health Protocol Law Enforcement in Efforts to Prevent and Control Corona Virus Disease 2019 in Indragiri Hilir Regency. Namely what are the obstacles in enforcing health protocol law in efforts to prevent and control corona virus disease 2019 in Indragiri Hilir Regency and what efforts have been made to increase the effectiveness of health protocol law enforcement in efforts to prevent and control corona virus disease 2019 in Indragiri Hilir Regency. In conducting this research, the authors used the Observational Research method with the nature of the research, namely descriptive-analytical, where the data source comes from primary data, which is obtained from interviews with respondents and secondary data is from books, journals, articles, seminar thesis. as well as literature related to the main issues discussed in the law. The method of drawing conclusions in this study uses the deductive method, namely by drawing conclusions from general matters to specific matters. From the results of this study the authors can conclude that law enforcement of health protocols in efforts to prevent and control corona virus disease 2019 in Indragiri Hilir Regency has been successfully carried out and efforts have been made to increase the effectiveness of law enforcement health protocols in efforts to prevent and control corona virus disease 2019 in It can be said that Indragiri Hilir Regency is running well and effectively considering that at present in 2023 there are almost no more cases of Covid-19 in Indragiri downstream.
