Abstract

One of the law enforcement efforts in corruption is the prosecutor's office which has been authorized by law to carry out a process of investigation and investigation. To assist this process, apart from the role of investigators and investigators in general, the role of intelligence agencies in a country is also very necessary. The main problems in this study are: How is the implementation of law enforcement against perpetrators of criminal acts of corruption in the Pekanbaru District Attorney's jurisdiction, what are the obstacles in law enforcement against perpetrators of corruption crimes in the Pekanbaru district attorney's jurisdiction, and how to solve the implementation of law enforcement against Perpetrators of Corruption Crimes in the Legal Area of the Pekanbaru State Prosecutor's Office? The research methods used in this study are: Observational research which was conducted by means of a survey, namely direct research to the research location using data collection tools in the form of interviews. And the research is descriptive, which provides a clear and detailed description of the main problem under study. The Attorney General's Office has made many efforts to eradicate corruption. Among these efforts is the implementation of the Sidak (Sudden Inspection). Weaknesses and constraints become factors that hinder the smooth and successful handling of corruption cases which result in weak law enforcement. Hi, it is necessary to find a solution so that it does not drag on so that it interferes with the accountability of the performance of law enforcement officers. If the existing weaknesses and constraints are minimized by utilizing the strengths and opportunities that exist, then the ranks of law enforcement officers will increasingly be able to realize their existence as reliable and trusted law enforcement officers.
