Abstract

During the Covid 19 virus pandemic, the life of every human being at that time was very strict and also regulated in law that people who wanted to travel were required to use PCR swabs, which was one of the methods used by medical personnel to check or detect the presence of viruses or bacterial diseases. Swabs were widely used. to find out the most heard virus, namely the corona virus or covid 19. The swab is used using samples from the mucus in the nose or throat for personal and surrounding safety. below market prices, which method is prohibited because it can create a price war against business actors. The main problem of this research is how is the implementation of the application of swab prices by the government in Sukajadi sub-district. What are the Obstacles in Implementing Swab Pricing by the Government in Sukajadi District The type of research used is empirical legal research in which the type of legal research is carried out by analyzing and studying an issue directly, either by way of interviews or by making observations. The results of the research on the implementation of the application of swab prices by the government in Sukajadi sub-district, there was an act of setting prices below the market price for business actors to set prices below market prices which could result in price wars, this was proven by the setting of prices below market prices which were only carried out by a certain group of swab service providers which resulted in losses and even the closing of the competitor's swab clinic business. Constraints in Implementation Implementation of swab prices by the government in Sukajadi sub-district lack of supervision to set swab prices in Sukajadi sub-district which makes business actors free to set prices and the lack of reports from the Sukajadi community regarding price fixing makes the government ignorance in setting prices.
