Abstract

Pekanbaru is a metropolitan city that has experienced increased activity in various fields, such as construction and readymix concrete companies. Readymix concrete is one of the most important building materials in the world of construction, therefore in construction projects it is necessary to pay attention to readymix concrete suppliers who will be suppliers. The choice of readymix concrete suppliers from several readymix concrete companies in the city of Pekanbaru is a consideration for contractors to choose the best supplier. The purpose of this study is to analyze the order of priority criteria and sub-criteria in the selection of ready-mix concrete suppliers according to the contractor. In this study the method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This method is used for decision making to choose an alternative from several existing alternative choices so that the best alternative is obtained. The results of this study obtained that based on the order of the largest weights, namely quality (0.307), price (0.180), service (0.154), location (0.111), delivery (0.104), payment system (0.055), partnership (0.050), and company experience (0.038). As for the results of the research with the order of priority of the sub criteria for each criterion in the selection of readymix concrete suppliers, it is produced based on the order of the largest weight, namely on the quality criteria the order of the sub criteria is price appropriateness with quality (0.666), ability to give discounts (0.181), and shipping costs ( 0.153), then on the delivery criteria with the order of delivery accuracy sub-criteria (0.556), delivery according to the agreed schedule (0.250), and being able to handle transportation (0.194), on the service criteria with the responsibility sub-criteria order (0.389), warranty (0.269) , easy to contact (0.162), how to respond (0.096), and information provided is clear (0.084), then quality criteria with consistent sub-criteria order (0.601), completeness (0.205), and flawless provision (0.194), on partnership criteria with the order of sub-criteria honesty (0.550), trust (0.357), and close relationship (0.093), and on the criteria of company experience with the order of sub-criteria ability to fulfill the number of orders (0.480), ability to maintain agreement (0.304), and history (0.180) .
