Abstract

Soil is the basis of a structure or construction, be it a building or a road. To reduce the high cost of soil improvement, soil stability testing was carried out by adding bagasse waste, which had been processed into powder. Bagasse waste is material left over from crushing sugarcane. This type of research is experimental in nature and involves conducting research in a soil laboratory, referring to SNI 1738:2011. Hadi (1985) states that experimental research is research conducted to find out the effects of a treatment after being given it intentionally by the researcher. The CBR value of the soil during the 2-day ripening period was 5.7%, and the CBR value during the 4-day ripening period was 6.26%. Meanwhile, the CBR value for the 6% bagasse-mixed soil during the 2-day ripening period was 5.83%, and the 4 days were 4.765%. From the test results, the highest CBR value was 2 days of curing for mixed soil. The length of curing time for mixed variations is one of the factors that affects the size of the CBR value
