Abstract
Analysis of Agro-Industry Business and Marketing of Ega Snack Breadfruit Chips in Kumantan Village, Bangkinang City District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province Ega Snack breadfruit chips are one of the agro-industry businesses in Kumantan Village. In running this breadfruit chips business, the owner still uses traditional equipment in the production process and utilizes marketing institutions around Bangkinang as a place to sell breadfruit chips. The objectives to be analyzed are: (1) Characteristics of entrepreneurs and the profile of the Ega Snack Breadfruit Chips agro-industry business. (2) Availability of raw materials, supporting materials, production processes, production costs, income, efficiency, business and added value of Ega Snack Breadfruit Chips products. (3) Marketing of Ega Snack Breadfruit Chips in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. This research uses a survey method with the respondents taken being breadfruit chips agro-industry entrepreneurs and workers. The data collected consists of primary data and secondary data. The data analysis used is the characteristics of entrepreneurs and business profiles, production processes, use of raw materials and supporting materials, business analysis, and marketing analysis. The results of the research show (1) Characteristics of the owner of the Ega Snack Breadfruit Chips agro-industry business in Kumantan Village, including the productive age of 53 years, the entrepreneur's education period is 6 years, the experience in running it is 7 years, the number of dependents in the entrepreneur's family is 2 people and the industry is on a household scale. (home industry), has a business license, and has a workforce of 2 people from outside the family. (2) The main raw materials for breadfruit and supporting production materials are water, cooking oil, gas, spices, plastic, stickers and electricity. The technology used is still simple. 15 kg of product produced will earn a gross income of IDR 1,500,000 and a net income of IDR 595,313/production process. The efficiency of the Ega Snack Breadfruit Chips (RCR) agro-industry business is 1.66. The added value obtained from processing breadfruit into breadfruit chips is IDR 14,197.48/kg breadfruit chips with a value added ratio of 47.32%. (3) Marketing of Ega Snack Breadfruit Chips has 2 marketing channels, namely marketing channel I, entrepreneurs sell breadfruit chips directly to retailers and marketing channel II, entrepreneurs sell breadfruit chips directly to consumers
