Abstract
The factor of the number of bridge structures that need maintenance attention and the different levels of risk of bridge damage result in the need for routine bridge maintenance. As is the case with the Sei Langgam bridge that crosses the Nilo river in Sering Village, Pelalawan District, which is on a national highway and close to the center of the industrial area, the bridge is often passed by vehicles that exceed their load capacity. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of the bridge and the feasibility of the Sei Langgan bridge from the vibrations that occur on the span with a comparison of the value of the vibrations that occur on the span of the new Sei Langgam bridge. This study uses the standard Bridge Management System (BMS 2022), where this system evaluates using a hierarchy of bridge elements by assessing levels. Level 5 is the volume damage of individual small elements. then an assessment of the condition of the group of all similar elements was carried out at a level 4 assessment. After that, an assessment of the condition of the group of building elements on the bridge was assessed at level 3. The observation results were reviewed with secondary data from the results of the routine bridge maintenance program in 2022. The condition of each element of the building on the Sei Langgam bridge using the Bridge Management System (BMS) standard for most of the elements still results in a condition assessment with a value of 1, while for frame and road safety elements the condition value increases to 2. So that monitoring or maintenance in the future. Comparison of the vibrations that occur in the span of the old Sei Langgam bridge and the new Sei Langgam bridge can be seen in the FBD. The dynamic load factor (FBD) is the result of the interaction between the moving vehicle and the bridge. The natural frequency value of the bridge is 0.3 Hz. The frequency value of the old Sei Langgam bridge is 0.25 Hz, while the frequency value obtained from the new Sei Langgam bridge is 0.33 Hz. Thus there is a difference in the frequency value of the old Sei Langgam bridge and the new Sei Langgam bridge of 24.24%.
