Abstract

High productivity will increase profits by speeding up project implementation time. Pipe rack structure construction work. This study examines the problem of time and cost management on Crawler Crane and Truck Trailer heavy equipment in the assembly and installation of pipe rack structures. The object of research is the Structure Pipe Rack Development Project in Pangkalan Kerinci. The research method is survey method with direct observation in the field on the work of installing pipe rack structures. The data used is in the form of primary data including the volume and duration of each stage of work, job factors and interviews. Secondary data in the form of plans and specifications of heavy equipment. The results of the study were obtained in the form of a crawler crane heavy equipment cycle time of 6.8 minutes during installation, hoisting, swing, and landing on the structure pipe rack assembly. After assembly, the structure pipe rack was carried using a trailer truck to the project site at 6.32 m3/hour . When lifting the structure pipe rack requires calculating the cost of heavy equipment where the total cost of the zoomlion type crawler crane is IDR 838,725.00 / hour and the hino type crawler crane is IDR 1,626,800.00 / hour and when carrying the pipe rack structure by a trailer truck is IDR 1,801,609.00 / hour.
