Abstract
The FTR field is manage by PT Bumi Siak Pusako which first started producing in 1984. This field has 9 wells with OOIP 25.25 MMSTB and RF of 35%, the peak of oil production occurred in Januari 1984 of 5.789 BOPD. Currently (as of November 2021) the field’s production rate is 90 BOPD. The FTR field has been in production for 37 years and can be categorized as a mature field. To optimize the rate of production, scenarios are needed in field development. The development carried out in this study has 5 scenarios namely first Base Case, second Base Case+Work Over, third Base Case+Work Over+Convert to Injection, fourth Base case+Work Over+Infill Drilling, fifth Base case+Work Over+Infill Drilling+Convert to Injection. The forecast carried out in this study is until 2042 or the end of the contract. Scenario 1 has a cumulative production of 9.81 MMSTB and RF 38.80%, Scenario 2 10.01 MMSTB and RF 39.60%, Scenario 3 10.35 MMSTB and RF 40.98%, Scenario 4 10.38 MMSTB and RF 41.11, and scenario 5 has the best cumulative acquisition value with a value of 10.61 MMSTB and RF 42.01%. To determine the best scenario in field development, an economic feasibility test is carried out based on the highest NPV value for all existing scenarios. The NPV value of first scenario is 2.96 MMUSD, second scenario is 3.83 MMUSD, third scenario is 4.16 MMUSD, fourth scenario is 4.03 MMUSD, and fifth scenario is 4.79 MMUSD. Based on the feasibility test results obtained, fifth scenario is the selected scenario with a cumulative production value of 10.61 MMSTB and 42.01% RF and an NPV value of 4.79 MMSTB.
