Abstract
Heavy oil is oil with high viscosity, so it is very difficult to flow to the surface. Field-X is located in Riau Indonesia. Has a heavy oil reservoir. Because the heavy oil in the reservoir contains asphaltene, which causes the oil to have a low viscosity value, a thermal process is required to produce the oil using the regular cyclic steam stimulation method. That is an injection process that is carried out to increase the temperature in the reservoir, so that the viscosity decreases. The problems that occur in Field-X are experiencing a decrease in production due to heavy oil making it difficult for oil to flow. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the parameters using the regular cyclic steam stimulation method. By doing this analysis it will make it easier to increase the success of the regular cyclic on the x field. Analysis of the regular cyclic steam stimulation method is based on the parameters Average Well Head Temperature, Hydrocarbon Pore Thickness, Average Pump Fillage, Decline Rate, Pattern Maturity, and Delta days to previous cyclic. The results analyzed were obtained where good injection performance was obtained at WHT > 150 oF, and pump fillage <100% could produce high oil gain.
