Abstract

The TPN-01 well is currently producing ± 1.8 mmscfd. With the depth of the reservoir at a depth of 4461 ft – 4466 ft. And it has started to be actively produced since October 2021. The gas produced at the TPN-01 well was purchased by PT. bag. To fulfill the buyer's request, PT. Pertamina wants to increase gas production by 2.25 mmscfd. To fulfill PT. BAG will optimize production in the TPN-01 well by adding perforations. Based on the TPN-01 well log data, there is a productive layer with a depth of between 4460 ft - 4495 ft which is currently being produced at intervals of 4461 ft - 4466 ft. To determine the location of the additional depth of perforation, a log analysis will be carried out and then it will be applied using CMG-GEM software to find out the increase in the production flow rate of the gas well indicating that the gas in layer F has a total reserve of 5.93 BSCF. To increase the flow rate of gas production by 2.25 MMSCFD, several scenarios were used, namely: stage I depth of 4473 ft -4480 ft, stage II depth of 4487 ft -4496 ft , stage III merging perforations at depths of 4473 ft -4480 ft and 4487 ft - 4496 ft. And from the two scenarios it can be determined, the best scenario in scenario II Phase III is by adding two perforations at 4473 ft – 4480 ft and 4487 ft – 4496 ft with a gas production gain of 3.92 BSCF with an RF of 72.7% and a gas rate of 2.25 MMSCFD can survive until October 01, 2025.
