Abstract

This research aims to determine the interaction and main effects of Kasgot fertilizer and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer treatments on the growth and production of flowering cabbage plants (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.) on PMK media. The research was carried out at the Riau Islamic University Experimental Garden, Pekanbaru, for 4 months starting from April to July 2024. The research used a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is cassava fertilizer consisting of 4 treatment levels: 0, 100, 200, 300 g per polybag, while the second factor is NPK 16:16:16 consisting of 4 treatment levels: 0, 3.75, 7.5, 11.25 g per polybag. The parameters observed were plant height, age of crop emergence, harvest age, relative growth rate, crop weight with leaves, crop weight without leaves, crop diameter, and root volume of flowering cabbage plants. The data was analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction between giving kasgot and NPK 16:16:16 had an effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment was found at a dose of cashgot 300 g/polybag and NPK 16:16:16 7.5 g/polybag. The main factor of cashgot influences all observation parameters. The best treatment is at a cassava dose of 300 g/polybag. The main factor NPK 16:16:16 influences all observation parameters. The best treatment is at a dose of 7.5 g/polybag.
