Abstract
The research that has been conducted with the aim of determining the effect of interaction and the main Mycorrhiza and Potassium Phosphate on the growth and yield of shallots on peat media. The research was conducted at the experimental garden of the Islamic University of Riau, Pekanbaru, for 3 months from February to April 2024. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the dose of Mycorrhiza with 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 2.5, 5 and 7.5 grams/plant and the second factor is the dose of Potassium Phosphate consisting of 4 treatment levels of 0, 6, 12, and 18 grams/plant. The parameters observed were plant height, harvest age, number of tubers per clump, wet weight of tubers per clump, dry weight of tubers per clump, dry weight of tubers per tuber, tuber weight loss and tuber diameter. The results of the observations were analyzed statistically and carried out with the Advanced Test of Honestly Significant Differences (HSD) at the 5% level. The results of the study showed that the interaction of Mycorrhiza and Potassium Phosphate administration had a significant effect on all parameters with the best combination of Mycorrhiza 7.5 grams/plant and Potassium Phosphate 18 grams/plant. The main effect of Mycorrhiza was significant on all observation parameters, the best treatment was at a dose of 7.5 grams/plant. The main effect of Potassium Phosphate was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment was at a dose of 18 grams/plant.
