Abstract

This research is about social assistance policies implemented by the government, in this case the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, which aims to eradicate poverty in Indonesia. Beneficiaries of this program are recipients who previously received PKH (Family Hope Program) and BPNT (Non-Cash Food Assistance) assistance. The aim of this research is that the researcher wants to see to what extent the government has implemented PENA (Heroes of the Archipelago Economic) assistance as a goal of poverty alleviation, which has been a program of the government of the Republic of Indonesia. This research uses interview techniques, observation and photo documentation. To find out everything, the researcher used informants as a source of information for this research. The researcher interviewed beneficiaries, social assistants, city council officers, and Abiseka center officers as sources of answers and informants in this research. The results of the findings of this research are companions in carrying out National Economic Hero activities based on technical instructions that have been made by the organizers of this program, namely the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia as policy makers and program organizers. The next finding was that during the observations, the researcher found that the beneficiary's income had increased as evidenced by the proposal for applying for assistance for the Indonesian Economic Hero program, and also that the recipient was able to independently earn income for the beneficiary's daily needs.
