Abstract

This research serves to identify internal and external environmental factors and to identify what strategies will be used in order to develop educational services of SMK Teknologi Riau Pekanbaru. This research uses quantitative research. The results of research based on the Grand Strategy Matrix of Educational Services Development Strategy at SMK Teknologi Riau Pekanbaru show that the intersection point (1,060; 1,076) is in a position to support aggressive strategies in quadrant I, where the situation can be done by utilizing strengths and opportunities in order to increase the development of educational services at SMK Teknologi Riau Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the strategy analysis, the strategies that must be carried out are Adding cooperation in the field of education and infrastructure with related partners, improving or adding existing facilities to better support the educational process, improving school achievements both in the academic and non-academic fields, increasing promotional activities both offline and online, increasing supervision of educational activities that take place every day, introducing many extracurricular programs to develop students' interests and talents, taking a direct approach with the community, publicizing the advantages and achievements achieved by SMK Teknologi Riau in strategic places and through social media, improving the quality of existing education and improving school accreditation, Open expertise competencies, provide training and comparative studies to teachers intensively and directed to improve teacher competence, improve school reputation by participating in activities / competitions outside the school. Adding cooperation/MOUs with several companies regarding the distribution of labour and internships, Provide assistance in the form of scholarships or discounted tuition fees, Expanding segmentation and co-operation with external parties/communities.
