Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze public service innovation through the Silawo application in Bangsal Aceh Subdistrict. The research method uses descriptive qualitative by collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation which is then analyzed qualitatively. The research results show that public service innovation through the Silawo application has fulfilled the relative advantage aspect such as benefits for officers and the community, providing comfort and convenience as well as speed of service. The compatibility aspect is that it meets the needs of completely digital/online services and has been adapted to previous manual service experience. The complexity aspect, which tends to be less complicated for both officers and admins in processing population administration requests, as well as for people who just submit files without having to process them independently. The trialability aspect is that it is only possible or can only be tried by operator and admin officers, while other sub-district officials or the public cannot try because they do not have access permission from Disdukcapil. The observability aspect is easy to observe by operator and admin officers who at any time want to check the status of applications that have been sent to Disdukcapil. However, there are still obstacles, such as the application often experiencing problems/maintenance and the application can only be accessed by operators and sub-district admins.
