Abstract
Research on the effect of Coconut Water POC and Gandasil D on the growth and yield of mint plants (Mentha piperita L) was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Air Cool, Air Winter Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, for 4 months starting from March to June 2024. This research aims to determine the effect of the interaction of POC concentrations of Coconut Water and Gandasil D on the growth and yield of mint plants. The experiment used a completely randomized design with 2 factors and 3 repetitions. The first factor is POC Coconut Water with 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 150, 300, 450 ml per liter of water and the second factor, Gandasil D, consists of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 2, 4 and 6 grams per liter of water. The parameters observed were plant length, number of primary branches, wet leaf weight, dry leaf weight and root volume. The observation data was analyzed for variance and continued with the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of Coconut Water POC and Gandasil D had a significant effect on plant length, number of primary branches, wet leaf weight, dry leaf weight and root volume with the best treatment being given 450 ml/l of Water POC Coconut Water and 6 g/l of Gandasil D. l water. The main effect of giving POC Coconut Water was significant on the parameters of plant length, number of primary branches, wet leaf weight, dry leaf weight and root volume with the best treatment at a concentration of 450 ml/l water. The main effect of giving Gandasil D was significant on the parameters of plant length, number of primary branches, wet leaf weight, dry leaf weight and root volume with the best treatment of 6 g/l water.
