Abstract

A study entitled “The Effect of NASA POC and Organic NPK on the Growth and Production of Green Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) on PMK Soil” was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University for 4 months starting from April to July 2024. This study aims to determine the interaction and main effect of NASA POC and organic NPK on the growth and production of green okra on PMK soil. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the concentration of NASA POC consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 5, 10 and 15 ml/L and the second factor is the dose of organic NPK with 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 25, 50 and 75 g/plant. Observation data were analyzed statistically and carried out with a further test of Honestly Significant Difference at the 5% level. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit, fruit length, and number of remaining fruits. The results showed that the interaction of NASA POC concentration and organic NPK dose was significant on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit, longest fruit length, and number of remaining fruits. The best treatment on NASA POC with a concentration of 15 ml/L and organic NPK fertilizer 75 g/plant. The main effect of NASA POC was significant on all observation parameters with the best treatment of 15 ml/L. The main effect of organic NPK was significant on all observation parameters with the best treatment of 75 g/plant.
