Abstract
The Effectiveness of Humanistic Learning on Students’ Arabic Speaking Skill at the Madinatul Munawarah Islamic Boarding School of Sorek, Pelalawan Regency Savira Anisa Wendi Islamic University or Riau (UIR) Email: safrasavira@gmail.com Abstract In this study, the researcher aims to investigate the effectiveness of Humanistic Learning on students’ speaking skill (Maharah Kalam) at the Madinatul Munawarah Islamic Boarding School. This study is carried out by using a quantitative approach with the ex-post facto method. The data collection technique of the study is questionnaires. The population of the study is 525 students of the Madinatul Munawarah Islamic Boarding School of Sorek, Pelalawan Regency with a total sample of 30 students taken by simple random sampling. The data analysis is performed by the SPSS 25 software. The results of the study show that there is a great significance in the effectiveness of Humanistic Learning on students’ Arabic speaking skill as evidenced by the normality test which operates normally, and the hypothesis testing of the t-test shows that there is a great significance of humanistic learning on students’ Arabic speaking skill at the Madinatul Munawarah Islamic Boarding School of Sorek, Pelalawan regency with a result achieved is 0.07 and Ha is accepted.
