Abstract

An Analysis of Expression Patterns in Surah Yusuf and Their Use For Communicative Arabic GINA SONIA 192710322 The Qur’an is the greatest miracle that Allah sent down to the Prophet Muhammad SAW as a guide for mankind in living life. Ali ash-Shobuni mentions in (Ridlwan et al., 2021) that one of the miracles in the Qur'an according to the agreement of linguists is the language of the Qur’an itself. The close relationship between the Qur’an and Arabic makes the Qur’an has always been a reference in learning Arabic both orally and in writing. One of them is the communicative language style of the Qur'an which is interesting to learn. Surah Yusuf is one of the surahs that contains a lot of communicative expressions. This study aims to find out the expression patterns in surah Yusuf and their use in communicative Arabic. This is a library research and it uses a content analysis approach. The results of the study indicate that the analysis of the expression patterns in Surah Yusuf consists of 63 expression patterns in verses 7, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 35, 39, 41 , 43, 47, 50, 51, 54, 55, 59, 60, 63, 64, 65, 66, 68, 69, 70, 71, 73, 74, 75, 77, 80, 85, 88, 89, 90 , 91, 94, 95, 96, 99, 107, 109. These expression patterns are included in the uslub nahwu category, such as: Uslub Terms, Uslub which removes the answer conditions, Uslub Qasam Zhahir, Uslub Qasam Mudhmar, Uslub which collects terms and qasam, Uslub Ikhthisash and Uslub Istifham. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the examples of expression patterns contained in Surah Yusuf can be applied in learning communicative Arabic.
