Abstract
This study aims to conduct a juridical analysis of legal protection for stock recommendation actions carried out by influencers, with a comparative study of sanctions provisions in Indonesia, the United States, and Singapore. The phenomenon of the development of social media and the influence that influencers have in the capital market, especially stock recommendations, has caused significant attention. This research will use juridical normative legal research methods with a comparative legal approach. The data obtained in this study came from literature studies and analysis of relevant legislation in the three countries that were the object of study. The results of this study provide a clearer understanding of the legal protection afforded to stock recommendation actions by influencers in Indonesia, the United States, and Singapore. In addition, this study also aims to identify differences and similarities in sanctions provisions regulated by the three countries as well as provide recommendations to improve legal protection against influencer activities in the field of stock recommendations.
