Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many field employees of PT Intek Electrical Indonesia carried out work with negligence in checking Consumer electrical installations in a hurry which resulted in losses to victims, they filled in data that did not match the original form installed so that it was quickly completed and certificates Operational worthiness can be issued When a certificate for operation worthiness has been issued, the PLN will not receive a Consumer Operations Worth Certificate if it is not in accordance with the position of the electrical installation. As a result, many consumers experience delays from installing electrical installations that do not comply with this standard. PT Intek Electrical Indonesia as a service provider for issuing Certificates of Operation Worthiness must be responsible and inevitably have to accept the consequences of negligence which has resulted in losses. PT.Intek Electrical Indonesia's legal responsibility is urgently needed by consumers who are included in the category of victims of negligence by officers while working. Then the legal consequences arising from the negligence of this officer. The author of this study uses empirical research methods or observational research, namely by interviewing 30 informants consisting of 25 consumers as victims of PT Intek Electrical Indonesia and 5 employees in charge of issuing certificates of operational worthiness, which aims to find out the responsibilities the responsibility given by PT Intek for consumer losses and legal consequences received for being negligent in serving consumers. The research that the author is currently studying and writing has resulted in several conclusions, the responsibilities given by PT. intek Electrical Indonesia by providing a discount for the issuance of a new Operation Laio Certificate in accordance with the electrical installation of the victim's building. The legal consequences received by PT.Intek Electrical Indonesia could have the company's operating permit as a Technical Inspection Agency issuing a Certificate of Operation Worthiness be revoked by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
