Abstract

Films continue to grow over time, especially among the younger generation. Films are also mass media products that are very popular with many people, so that films have a special place for many people. Films also function as a forum for conveying moral messages. One of them is based on the film Sayap Sayap Patah, a film which is quite interesting to discuss because there are several moral messages contained in it. This film tells the story of a fairly harmonious husband and wife relationship. However, their domestic happiness had to be disrupted because the husband, who worked as a member of Densus 88, had to go to carry out his duties. This research aims to analyze and explain the meaning contained in the form of moral messages in the film Broken Wings. Researchers used qualitative methods with Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic analysis approach with representation (Signs, Objects and Interpretants). The results of this research show that the moral message contained in the film Broken Wings is that there are bad moral messages such as violence and lies. On the other hand, from bad words there are also good moral messages such as love, responsibility and kindness. Keywords: Analysis, Moral Message, Film Wings of Broken Wings
