The data collection techniques of the study are observation, tests and documentation and the data analysis technique of the study is the statistical testing t-test (independent and paired samples) performed by SPSS version 22. The results of the study show that there is an effect of Variable X (Tartil Method) on Variable Y (Ability to recite the Quran) at SD IT Al Izhar Pekanbaru. It is found that the average scores between before and after applying the Tartil method have increased from 51.40 to 80.60, while the average scores before and after applying the Ummi method have also increased from 47.70 to 71.00.
