Abstract

The purpose in this research examined to know that the implementation of mind mapping method could improve students’ learning concentration?. This research had two cicles and every cicles consisted of Planning, Action, Observation, and reflection. By doing implementation of mind mapping method, it could improve students’ learning concentration based on observation result that had been research. The subject in this research was stduents class V at elementary school IT AL – Madinah Pekanbaru city that consisted of 23 students. Data collection technique used observation, and documentation. By using mind-mapping method, it could improve stduents larning concentration, where research finding in cicle I in 54% and in cicle II in 87%. It was in very high category. Next, in teacher competence score in cicle I in 88% and in cicle II in 92% in using mind mapping method. It was in very high category.
