Abstract

Religious character values in the Nussa and Rara animation emerge and incarnate as an entertaining educational tool for transferring religious character values, as well as a media for accommodating problems of the degradation of religious characters in an era of very rapid development and the importance of filtering educational media that contain and in accordance with the Islamic teachings. This background that motivates the author to do the study. The study aims to investigate the religious character values in the serial media of animated film “Nussa & Rara”. This is a qualitative study with a content analysis approach. The subject of the study is the serial media of animated film “Nussa & Rara” and the object of the study is the religious character values in the serial media of animated film “Nussa & Rara” of compilation episode vol.15. The data collection technique of the study is documentation. The results of the study show that the serial media of animated film “Nussa & Rara” contains and presents religious character values in it which contains four aspects of religious character as follows: (1) Aspects of belief/ideology. (2) Aspects of religious practice. (3) Aspects of appreciation. (4) Aspects of consequence and experience.
