Abstract

This study is motivated by the problem that there are some students who do not understand the correct way to purify according to Islamic law, especially in performing ablution (wudu’). The students tend to just do it without knowing whether it is in accordance with Islamic law or not, because their understandings in practicing purification are not always the same. The aim of the study is to find out how the influence of thaharah Fiqh learning on the ablution implementation of students at SD IT Sakinah Pandau Jaya, Kampar Regency. The problem formulation of the study is how the thaharah Fiqh learning influences the ablution implementation of students at SD IT Sakinah Pandau Jaya, Kampar Regency. This is a quantitative study. The data colletion technique of the study is questionnaires distributed to the students at SD IT Sakinah Pandau Jaya, Kampar Regency, intended to obtain information about the ablution implementation of students influenced by thaharah Fiqh learning. The data analysis techniques of the study are t-test statistics and the coefficient of determination (R squared) performed by SPSS (Static Package for Social Science) software. The results of the study as follows: The test results show that the variable of thaharah Fiqh learning partially has a positive and significant influence on the implementation of ablution. The results of the following test, the coefficient of determination test (R-squared), show that the variable of thaharah Fiqh learning influences the ablution implementation with the R-squared value of 59.2% , while the remaining 40.2% is influenced by other factors which are not examined in this study.
