Abstract

This research aims to find out how the supervisor's interpersonal communication is in dealing with student delinquency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with semi-structured interview techniques and obtains data from 5 sources (2 ustazah pembia, 3 santriwati) at the Anshor Al-Sunnah Islamic boarding school. Meanwhile, other methods include observing the interpersonal communication of the supervisors in dealing with student delinquency and documentation in the form of data. things needed such as boarding school archives regarding the number of female students, violation books or regulations, etc. This thesis discusses how coaches deal with female student delinquency by using counseling methods in the form of: finding a solution to whether the female student is sufficient with punishment or needs to be given further guidance and supervision. The inhibiting factors that occur are in the form of attitudes from both parties, namely the authoritarian attitude of the supervisor and the defensive attitude of the female students, apart from the inhibiting factors, the support provided by the supervisor to the female students is in the form of leniency in punishment such as reducing the number of sentences or increasing the time. By using this interpersonal communication approach, it is hoped that coaches can have a positive influence on female students and help them overcome the mischief they face.
