Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of flashcard learning media in improving students’ prayer skills in grade 4 of SDN 009 Sidomulyo, Lirik District, Indragiri Hulu Regency because the students’ prayer skills are still not in accordance with the sharia taught by the Prophet Muhammad. This study is a class action research. The subject of the study is the students in grade 4 of SDN 009 Sidomulyo, Lirik District, Indragiri Hulu Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year. The data collection techniques of the study are observation and documentation. Based on the data results, it is known that the students’ prayer skills before implementing the flashcard learning media were considered to be not good with a percentage of 15%. After implementing flashcard learning media in cycle I, the students’ prayer skills increased to 50% with a moderate category, because the results in cycle I had not reached the predetermined result, then it was continued in cycle II. In this cycle, the students’ prayer skills increased to 90% with a very high category and the second result in cycle II was completed and the study was not continued to the next cycle. The results of the study can be concluded that the implementation of flashcard learning media can improve students’ prayer skills in grade 4 of SDN 009 Sidomulyo, Lirik District, Indragiri Hulu Regency.
