Abstract

Research with the title "The Effect of Bokashi Water Hyacinth and NaCl on the growth and production of Tomatoes (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.)". The aim of the research was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of Bokashi Water Hyacinth and NaCl on the growth and production of Tomatoes (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.). This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau JI Islamic University. Kaharuddin Nasution Km. 11, No: 113, Air Winter Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. Over a period of 4 months, starting from November 2023 to February 2024. The experimental design used was a 4 x 4 Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors, the first factor was the dose of water hyacinth bokasi with 4 treatment levels, while the The second is the NaCl dose with 4 treatment levels, so there are 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications so that 48 experimental units (plots) were obtained. One plot consists of 8 plants and 2 of them are sampled, so there are 384 plants. The effect of water hyacinth bokasi and NaCL was significant on the age of net assimilation rate, relative growth rate, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per plant and weight of fruit per fruit. Where the best treatment is water hyacinth bokasi 675 g/plant and NaCL 3.75 g/l water. The main effect of water hyacinth bokasi was evident on all observation parameters. The best treatment for bokasi water hyacinth is 675 g/plant. The main effect of NaCL fertilizer was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment is NaCL 3.75 g/l water.
