Abstract
The aim of the research was to determine the response of soybean plants in terms of interactions and the main concentration of water hyacinth compost and Padang restaurant waste. The research was carried out at the Riau Islamic University Experimental Garden, Pekanbaru, for 4 months from May to August 2023. The research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the concentration of water hyacinth compost with 4 treatment levels, namely without water hyacinth compost, 250 g per polybag, 500 g per polybag and 750 g per polybag and the second factor is Padang restaurant waste which consists of 4 treatment levels, namely without Padang restaurant waste, 500 ml per polybag, 750 ml per polybag, and 1000 ml per polybag. The parameters observed were plant height (centimeters), net assimilation rate (mg per cm2 per day), relative growth rate (g per day), flowering age (days), harvest age (days), wet weight of 100 seeds (g), dry weight of 100 seeds (g) and number of pods planted (fruit). The observation data was analyzed statistically and carried out with the Advanced Honestly Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results of the research showed that the interaction between providing concentrations of water hyacinth compost and Padang restaurant waste had an effect on all parameters with the best treatment being a concentration of water hyacinth compost of 750 g per polybag and Padang restaurant waste of 1000 ml per polybag. The main effect of water hyacinth compost had a significant effect on all observation parameters with the best treatment being a water hyacinth compost concentration of 750 g per polybag. The main influence of Padang restaurant waste has a significant effect on all observation parameters with the best treatment dose being 1000 ml of Padang restaurant waste per polybag
