Abstract
The problem of flooding in Pekanbaru has been occurring for a long time, but its intensity and frequency is increasing, increasing over time with the increase in population, expansion of residential areas, opening of new land for development of industrial areas, and so on. At the beginning of 2024, the flood will reach hundreds of points, almost spreading to 12 sub-districts in Pekanbaru City and the worst, namely in Rumbai sub-district, it will take up to two weeks for the flood to finally recede. So data is needed that will be able to provide subsurface picture information aimed at determining the level of groundwater saturation in the research area. This will be very helpful in designing appropriate measures to deal with flood disasters in the research area. The research method used is Geoelectric using the Schlumberger configuration with supporting data in the form of drill logs in the research area, Geoelectric data collection using a Resistivity Meter (main module) and data processing using IPPI2WIN, the correlation of the two data can present subsurface conditions in the research area. Based on the resistivity values obtained in the research area, it was found that the material in each layer below the surface was sand and compact sand with a groundwater depth of 0.5 to 4 meters. Based on the results of granulometric analysis, material was found at a depth of 2 meters in the top soil layer, namely medium sand and coarse sand. According to the scoring results, there are three divisions of areas based on the level of flood vulnerability, flood vulnerability locations are marked in red, medium vulnerability locations are marked in yellow and locations that are not flood vulnerable are marked in green.
